July 18th Linde was part of a unique 'All Star' Fairport Convention reunion concert curated by Joe Boyd in the Barbican Hall in London with orginal Fairport members Richard Thompson, Ashley Hutchings, Simon Nicol, Judy Dyble, Iain Matthews, Dave Mattacks. There are some lovely clips on Youtube.

Linde has been interviewed by Bob Harris, along with i.e. Robert Plant, Richard Thompson, Simon Nicol, Dave Cousins, Maddy Prior for a two part documentary on BBC Radio 2 about Sandy Denny, broadcasted on the 22th and 29th of April.



The 20th of April Linde Nijland & Bert Ridderbos will be part of a Sandy Denny anniversary tribute event in The Troubadour in London. Also appearing are Linda Thompson and Joe Boyd, Martin Carthy and other fine musicians.

Next week the UK tour starts. A DVD is now out of the beautiful concert Linde gave withYgdrassil August 2006 at the Dutch Folkwoods festival. A short clip of the dvd can be viewed here.

In 2008 Linde will launch Het Internationaal Folkcomplot, a new international band. Other groupmembers will be Vera Coomans (Bel), Wouter Vandenabeele (Bel), Walter Kuipers (NL) and Bert Ridderbos (NL). The premiere of the project will take place at the Folkwoods Festival, Eindhoven in August.

At the moment Linde is working on a project of Winterliederen - wintersongs, together with Bert Ridderbos and Henk Scholte. They will tour The Netherlands in November and December 2007.

Starting January 2008 Linde Nijland sings Sandy Denny will tour The Netherlands, Germany and the UK. See the tourlist for dates.

The concerts feature multi-instrumentalist Bert Ridderbos (all dates) and Arnold Veeman - bass & Hans Battenberg - fiddle (German and Dutch concerts).

Linde Nijland sings Sandy Denny will appear at an evening with Joe Boyd at the Philips Muziekcentrum in Eindhoven (NL) November 16.

After over 15 years of recording and singing together, Ygdrassil, Linde's singing duo, has announced to take a break for the time being.
