LINDE has been performing for over 15 years, first as part of the harmony-singing duo YGDRASSIL - one of the strong components of folkmusic in The Netherlands -, lately as a succesful solo singer and guitarist. Linde has made 9 albums, toured all over Europe with her strong songs and captivating performance and was part of esteemed musical projects, such as her collaboration with American singersongwriter Si Kahn.
With her renditions of Sandy Denny song material she's recently toured the UK, Holland and Germany. Joe Boyd (former producer of Nick Drake, Fairport Convention, Pink Floyd) wrote about her album: 'Linde Nijland has given Sandy  Denny's music the respect it deserves, and made a lovely and fresh record that shows off her beautiful voice as well as her good taste'.

in 2010 a DVD of Linde's recent adventurous musical journey to Bhutan (through Serbia, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India) will be released. A new album is to be expected as well.
